Well, I've always loved Heather's trick to make a tab with a tag punch, and there's the clever use of the Stampin' Up slot punch to make rounded word strips, but it did not occur to me until today . . . .
. . .to insert just one end of a strip of paper into the McGill Mini File Tab Punch to make longer or shorter tabs!
The width of the strip should be 1 1/2 inches and the length is totally up to you! Yay!
******ETA: To see a project using this handy punch, check out my Miss Moxie Composition Book ********
P.S. You knew I just would not be able to resist adding ribbon to my egg hunt book, right?
Ok, that punch trick is too stinkin' clever! The ribbon DOES look lovely, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the punch tip, and the ribbon looks great on the book!
ReplyDeleteHi there. I love the book, it looks really like spring (and I could need that, it's pouring down with rain for the last couple of days. But i cannot see where you used the tab? To me it looks just like a yellow coloured cs strip with a scalloped one underneath.
ReplyDeleteThanks for explaining it to me, perhaps I am just blind?!
Hi anonymous! You're right! I didn't use the punch on this book, but I edited the post with a link to a project where I used the punch, so you could see it in action. I love making these tabs! Now if I have longer words, I can make tabs to fit.
ReplyDelete:) Jewels

ReplyDeleteJewels thank you sooo much for your answer. Now even I got it *lol*!
